Trimex belongs to the generation that took Chilean media art out of the exhibition hall and onto the stage, into the warehouse and onto the dance floor. Since 2011 it has bridged media art and electronic music, with its own language of light, laser and image and tools the collective builds itself.

Its path runs from Santiago's independent circuit to the Video and Media Arts Biennial, where it went from invited artist to running the technical production of the 17th edition, and to festivals such as Sónar, MUTEK, Ars Electronica and LEV, alongside Atom TM. Since 2012 it has taught what it learns in the workshop, and today it is a reference for a younger generation of mapping, laser and live visuals artists.
