2015 · Sónar Santiago Festival (SONAR +D)
Luminus Prospectu means light in perspective.
The field of this work is the senses that perceive abstract depth (vision and hearing), focusing on the sound-light experimentation of perspective.
Different sources of light and sound are located in the space, the arrangement of which is based on Voronoi's geometric diagrams.
The grid of these diagrams is generated by spatial, structural and hierarchical relationships that can be found in nature and living beings, from the micro to the macro; the sensory cells of the human eye and ear are also organized in this way.
The light and sound of the generated compositions evoke a raw atmosphere, with 4 moments of intensity.
The second version of Luminus Prospectu was presented in April 2018 at the Festival de Arte del Barrio, at the Museo de Artes Visuales. Lines of LED run across the walls of the room.
