RECREO 2026

We were invited to the Recreo Festival at GAM and in this edition we installed a closed-circuit system that functions as an interactive mirror in the visual arts room.

Developed with YOLO, the computer vision tool we created together with Roy Macdonald more than six years ago, specifically designed for artistic contexts.

The idea was to make the audience visible, turning gallery visitors into protagonists of the work.

The result is a device that oscillates between surveillance, reflection, and genuine interaction.

The exhibition space comes alive with the presence of people.

Before moving to GAM, the Recreo Festival took place in an abandoned school in the Independencia district. Trimex took part in those editions with light and laser installations.
